| This Challenge is being held to promote the use of JT6M during the Perseids Shower peak. There are no prizes, however the winner will receive a
colour printed certificate. |
Taking place during the period leading to and including the Perseids meteor shower peak, it is intended that QSO's will be made
using meteor scatter.
However it is likely that Tropo, Iono and ES qso's may take place, these qso's can be included. |
| The Challenge has the same format as before - based on grids worked - you only need to enter the 4 character grid - JO65,
JN79, IO88 etc. and the callsign of the station worked. |
| The winner(s) will be the one(s) working the most grids. |

Band : 6M Mode : JT6M only ! |
| Exchange : Usual MS report (e.g. 27) and 4 digit locator grid (e.g. IO90) |
| All licence conditions in your country must be observed. |
| Please read and understand the rules before you register and add your grids. |
| Skeds may be arranged through chat rooms such as ON4KST, email etc.. Please avoid 50.230 for skeds. |

2008 JT6M 6M Perseids Challenge Rules
- You register with a VALID email address.
- The correct MS Procedure must be used for all Challenge QSO's
- EU stations must use WSJT EU defaults If you aren't sure click here.
- Whenever possible, please use a QSY frequency when calling cq on 50.230, - e.g. CQ 235. This will help ease congestion during periods of peak activity.
- NO cross-band QSO's allowed (use 4M Challenge).
- NO Chat Room or Cluster QSO's please
- Posting of QSO info (whether your own or others) in chat room while qso is in progress is not allowed
- Maximum power is limited to 400W.
- Only QSO's made between 00:00 08-08-2008 and 24:00 14-08-2008 are valid. (Times are UTC)
- You may be required to show log details of any entry.
- jt6m.org reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to break the Challenge's simple rules
- Please note that only QSO's made after Challenge registration are permitted.

General Information.
- Once registered all you need to do is enter your Callsign, Password, new Grid Worked and Callsign worked in that grid.
- You may update as often as you like.
- Don't worry about entering duplicate grids - you can't !
- If you make an incorrect entry you can easily edit or delete it yourself.
- Just work as many grids as you can and have fun.
- If you don't know a station's grid you may find it in one of the other Challenge's entrants list.
