2006 JT6M Challenge was the first year-long Challenge. The winner, Jurek SP9HWY, worked a total of 179 grids. Congratulations Jurek !
A total of 280 grids (4 digit grid e.g. IO90) were worked by the 90 stations entered (102 registered), 483 distinct call signs from 57 countries from a total of 3436 entries.

6M was also open to 4X on a number of occasions and a few 4X stations were also worked, 4Z5AO being worked the most. LX2SM also worked 5T5SN in IK28AC
Around the Perseids meteor shower peak, E's openings to YU6, Z3, SV and SV9 provided some grids otherwise out of range for normal MS operating for northern EU stations. YU6/OK2ZAW, SV1IW, SV8DTD, SV9/G4XUM, SV9CVY and Z38C being amongst those worked.
