- 4M Winner - G7CNF IO81re - 69 Grids worked.
|
 |
Nige's total grids worked was 69 in 24 countries, 8 of which
were Xband 4/6M. Best DX was SV2DCD @ 2194km (IO81re <> KN00nf).
Nige commented "My station varied over 2007 as I experimented with a range of radios used in combination with
different transverters, antennas and output power, as I tried to combat the increasing nose floor. The second half of the
year my station remained unchanged with an FT-2000, DB6NT 4m transverter and a HB YU7EF 7 element yagi. The maximum output
used was legal limit (160w) but often as little as 1w was used."
